About Paudash Lake
Paudash Lake is technically two connected lakes — Paudash and Lower Paudash — on the Crowe River near its headwaters. The lake has four distinct sections: Outlet Bay, North Bay, Joe Bay, and Inlet Bay, giving it a lot of varied shoreline for a lake its size.
It sits along Highway 28 southwest of Bancroft, just north of Silent Lake Provincial Park, with the village of Cardiff and the hamlet of Paudash as the nearest communities.
Fishing
Paudash is well known for both the size and number of bass it produces, along with a solid population of walleye and lake trout. It's a popular tournament lake, which means summer fishing pressure is real — early morning and late evening tend to fish best.
